Dream Thoughts
(Transistionary Forms, Part 2)

The light shadows fear (How can I smile)
When the deep sleep arrives?
This scene in my head (It burns me to think)
Then I reached up and died
Separating myself (It isn't too easy)
It's me from myself that I hide
Lost thoughts in denial (The only weak link)
There are no real answers, just lies

You strength makes me stronger
Chasing my fears
My life is no longer
This dream feels like years
My eyes close and my mind opens to the surreal view
Illusions come within my reach and I am taught
Exploring, Discovering, Life's answers lie in the dream thought

I envy everything that does not fade away...

I have so much but make so little of it
Dreams are the place where imagination runs free
The mind's eye sees my desires, that which was hoped for
That which was loved, a fleeting moment of self-reflection

(Memory takes a lot of license
It ignores some details and exaggerates others
According to the emotional value of the thought
Because memory, for the most part, comes from the heart)
[repeat pre-chorus]
[repeat chorus]

Slip into the fourth dimension again
These dreams of mine are not my friend
Waging war, the end begins
The time, the place is just a blend

I envy everything that does not fade away
If the situation could change, and I could always be what I am right now

[repeat pre-chorus]
[repeat chorus]

He became the body of his soul when I died...
